Converting lattice optimization result to CAD model
Altair EmployeeHi, I need to convert my optimization result to a 3D CAD model for 3D printing. The model is divided into design and non design spaces. When I export the model, only design space is converted. How I can convert the whole model into CAD model.
When I try to export the solver deck as .stl file, there is not .stl file option available.
I appreciate if someone can help.

If it is solid elements, first create a layer of skin elements and use Geom>>SUrfaces>> FE->SUrf to extract surfaces and convert the same to solid geometry and export the same.

So you can export lattice (Design space) to CAD but not the rest of the model, correct?
You can extract surface from the non-design space and export the same to CAD.
