What contact settings are required to promote a press fit analysis?

 

In Optistruct, one just creates a  model with an interference fit and select NO ADJUST to allow the solution to promote the press fit.

 

I'm sure I'm missing something simple but it's not intuitively obvious to me right now.

This is not supported yet in SimSolid.

Hello Alex, a new contact type called "Alignment" was recently implemented, this can be used to simulate interference fit based on the geometrical conditions of two bodies (the actual interference can not be numerically declare, it must be defined geometrically).
