ERROR: error occurred executing acuPrep

Hi,

I've been trying to run a CFD simulation using the Hypermesh solver, however, I always get the same error (ERROR: error occurred executing acuPrep) and I don´t know what it means. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how to fix it? Thanks.

Could you please post your .inp and .Log files?

You can specify Eddy viscosity values.

PS: Note that current HyperMesh 2017.3 does not support mixed topology for elements. So if you using mass flux, be cautious, as it can have double mass flux (for quads and tri at inlet).

It was the eddy viscosity, thanks! There weren't any .log files created though. Do you know how to make sure they are created? because I need them after to display the results.

Hello,

I have the similar error and my acs file created by VWT. Because of VWT uses Spalart-Allmaras, I am changing the turbulence model to k-epsilon after create acs by starting analysis with VWT. After that, I see this error. Spalart-Allmaras is decaying turbulence. However VWT is really practical to set the problem up. Is it possible to change turbulence model of VWT? Or can i change after VWT creates acs file and then start the analysis?

I am unsure if VWT -AcuSolve has the option to change the turbulence model in the interface.

You could import the .ACS file in AcuConsole and change the turbulence model there. Export .INP again. Now you could start AcuSolve manually from Command Line or using AcuConsole.

Post processing, you will have to deal with manually.
