Problem with a disk simulation
Dear All,
i have a problem with a disk simulation. In the model the disk rotates at a concrete angular velocity and has a heat source.
The thing is that with the Spalart Allmaras turbulence equation the simulation converges, but not with the k-omega or SST turbulence equations.
To get that the simulation converge with Spalart Allmaras, it have been modified: Advanced Solution Strategy -> Stagger (flow, temperature, turbulence and Coupled temperature/flow), but I do not understand what this functions do and what are the most important terms to define there.
On the other hand i do not know why the simulation does not converge with SST an k-omega, can anybody help me?

SA model is more robust in terms of mesh requirements in AcuSolve. SST or Komega need a mesh with yPlus of ~1. That probably explains lack of convergence with two equation models.
