How do I know which edition of S-FRAME to install? (Standard, Professional, or Enterprise)

Are you attempting to install S-FRAME on your computer?  Have you recently acquired Structural Engineer, or Advanced Structural Engineer Suite units?  Do you know which edition of S-FRAME you should be installing?

When installing S-FRAME you will be prompted to choose your desired edition of the software.  The choices are Standard, Professional or Enterprise.  Your Altair representative can explain the difference between each edition.

It is important to select the edition that corresponds with your license.  If you have units in the Structural Engineer Suite, this entitles you to the Professional edition.  If you have units in the Advanced Structural Engineer Suite, Enterprise Suite, or Academic Licenses, you are entitled to use the 'Enterprise' license.

If you do not install the edition that corresponds to your license, S-FRAME will not run.  If you are not sure which edition of S-FRAME you have installed, you can open the following file in a text editor: C:\Program Files (x86)\S-FRAME Software\S-FRAME Product Suite 2022\S-FRAME\Sframe2022.ini

Within this file there is a row that specifies the 'edition'.  Numerical codes are used to denote each edition: 1 = Standard, 2 = Professional, 3 = Enterprise.  You can always manually edit the number to correspond to your desired edition.  If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us.
