Getting error: Graphics card not supported when viewing results in Hyperview

Hi Everyone,

I am having an issue when trying to view optimisation results in Hyperview. I am getting an error which tells me that the graphics card is not supported, however, I don't understand this as the Graphics card is a GEFORCE GTX 970 4GB GDDR5.

Is anyone kindly able to shed any light as to what might be going on here?

Hi Steve,

The graphics card you mention is not recommended for HyperWorks, however you should start by installing the latest drivers for your card from the manufacturer and try again,

All the world has nvidia graphic cards , cause its the best.

Install the latese drivers.... I play games with that card. And your programme its glitching....

please solve this problem.Your problem.

Thats one more reason engineerers use ansa or ansys.

HyperWorks do support Nvidia graphics cards, but not the Geforce series. Nvidia Quadro series is officially recommended. The Quadro series is more geared towards CAD and graphics designs, while the GeForce line leans towards gaming.

However, you can still work with the GeForce series. The thing is, you may face some graphical issues.

Check the GPU recommendation of HyperWorks (pdf)

Also, check this to see the difference between Geforce and Quadro series of Nvidia. You can understand which series is best suited for software/simulation/design application.

I have a latest laptop which has 4gb AMD Radeon RX560X GPU but i feel there is a graphic error while viewing the results. Is it supported?

I want to learn many softwares and i have updated the GPU too what can I do?
