Hello Sandeep, 

the problem could have different causes. In order to get more information about what is not validating the license you need to click on the License Log button, there you will get more information about the issue. 

I'm thinking that you could see errors like:

- HostID does not match license: If you see this, you need to double check and choose the correct HostID on your machine to get your license file generated.

- Unable to read license: The environment variable might not be pointing to the righ license file. Make sure the valu is the full directory with file name and extension. 

- Feature not found: This could have different reasons, make sure that your license is compatible with the application you are trying to use. 

If you can share the details in the license error log, I can help you identify the issue.

in the License setup window, Local file, please click in the folder and navigate to the altair_lic.dat license file on your machine, then click on Activate. You should be able to activate the license this way, if not, please share the error log again.

Sandeep, 

I would recommend you to uninstall the software and then reinstall it in a directory with no blank spaces. Then download a new copy of your license file and place it in the <install_dir>\security. There should be a security folder, you don't need to create one. If you can, I encourage you to select the default installation directory which is C:\Program Files\Altair.

Once the license file is placed, change the value on your ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH environment variable and point to the correct license file.

Hello Marcel, 

according to the error message the application is detecting that you are located in a European Time Zone and the license is not able to provide the feature neede for that. 

If you think this is an error and you should be able to use the license from your current location, I would recommend you to contact your account manager and inform him/her about this situation.
