Problems with Solid Edit Using Sweep Lines

I am having a few issues I was hoping someone could be of help with. When using the Solid Edit with sweep lines command I am running into a problem where when I get to the smaller sections I need to cut, the program will not cut these sections. I am getting an 'internal error'. '

I am also getting a weird effect where a random geometry begins protruding from the model. I have no clue what could be causing this problem.

I have tried adjusting the node tol, cleanup tol and element size but haven't had any luck.

Screenshot 2 is Line Selection

Thank you,

    HI cer54,

Can you define a vector and use the vector direction to sweep the lines?

    HI cer54,

Can you define a vector and use the vector direction to sweep the lines?

This is the method I am currently using with the Y-Axis as the vector direction

    Hi Cer54,

I mean to say, create a vector based on end nodes and use the solid edit option.

You can create a vector using Vectors panel (Analysis page>> Vectors)

I defined the vectors using nodes and continue to get an internal error. I just don't understand what could be going wrong

This method seems to have worked when I set the geom tol to 1x10^-8
