Hello,

Two Question:

1. If you use proximity meshing is Hypermesh using a 10-knotes tetrahedral elements?

2. If you use 'curvature' is the function 'proximity' automatically set?

Best regards

See HyperWorks Desktop Applications > HyperMesh > User's Guide > HyperMesh Panels > HyperMesh Panels Listed Alphabetically:

    Tetramesh Panel

Proximity refines the mesh in areas where the features are small and closer together

If you need to use 10 node tetras, go to preferences > meshing options > choose second in element order

You will have to choose curvature and proximity separately,

Stl is triangle mesh. If you have other element types in model exporter will issue the message

Try f5>elems>retrieve >mask>reverse to see them
