Ethernet ID Changed and now license won't work

I recently got a new motherboard and wifi card in my computer, hence my ethernet ID has changed. However due to this change, my license for Altair does not work anymore. How can i rectify this? 

I have tried changing the ID in the altair_lic.dat file but it has not worked.

    No way, you can not modify file altair_lic.dat :)/emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' /> 

    You have to submit again your form to ask new license.

    Since each license file works only for a computer with a specific Ethernet ID, You need to register again using the new Ethernet ID. Kindly register here: https://studentedition.altair.com/ to get free student edition.
