looks like Run completed. What problem you are facing?

Hi,
I don't see any Engine parameter in your deck. Please define common engine parameter & run.
See attached screenshot for the same.

Dear Sir,
I have already defined all engine parameters but while generating deck file from hypermesh it doesn't exported.however selected the merge starter and engine icon during export and generated the deck file with engine parameters as you mentioned but while solving geeting zero or negative volume for 3D element error 166
Thanks
Ram

Hi,
Use the small strain formulation with 8 integration points solid elements to overcome this negative volume error.
Set Isolid =14 with Inpts =222. Also set Icpre =1 for elastic or visco-elastic material law, and Icpre =2 for elasto-plastic laws.
This should fix the error and give you good results, let me know if this helps.
See attached Doc as well.

Hi,
I got your model yesterday.Let me take a look and get back to you.

Hi Ram,
As I have told in an earlier post, please check your interface definition,
Please go through the examples and tutorials available on RADIOSS help for more information.
Dear Sir,
I have created the interface between the bullet and composite fibre.
Type 7
Master part = Bullet
Slave part = composite fibre.
I have updated the parts and review the components ..
What error i have done in this interface please mention Sir,It will be helpful for my current and future work
Thanks
Ram

Ram,
in your model you hvae used type 20.
Though this will work but there is no master and slave surfaces defined in this contact. Please check.

Ram,
You need to create a contact surface and node group for slave and master segments when you use type7
Selecting components when creating type 7 may not work.
Dear Sir,
As per your instruction I have created the contact surfaces on the Composite fiber and created entity node sets on the bullet and updated the interfaces then run the simulation but the same error occurs.
Thanks
Ram

Hi Ram,
The contact direction is wrong in your model.
I suggest you to go through the tutorials on RADIOSS help on how to create contact surfaces and interfaces.

Ram,
check material properties and if you think time is a factor, increase the simulation in \RUN
Hi,
Please make sure that the unit should be consistent.
In input deck of /BEGIN first two lines of input unit & working unit should be same.
