Creating a helical curve

Hello,
today I faced the problem of creating a helical structure in Hypermesh. I found a tutorial on how to morph a helical spring and another one on how to drag geometry along a spiral path.
However, I didn't manage to model the helical curve itself. 
I need to be able to modify pitch, start angle and diameter of the curve.
