Creating a helical curve

Hello,
today I faced the problem of creating a helical structure in Hypermesh. I found a tutorial on how to morph a helical spring and another one on how to drag geometry along a spiral path.
However, I didn't manage to model the helical curve itself. icon_sad.gif
I need to be able to modify pitch, start angle and diameter of the curve.

    Wolfgang,

    I would recommend solidthinking for this kind of geometry, see

    Modeling > Curve Drawing Tools > Helix in the evolve help

    Here you can vary the pitch , turning radius etc and fully control the helix creation.
