Hi
Would you please elaborate more what would the application for the periodic boundary?
we can set cyclic boundary with keyword /BCS/CYCLIC
It defines a cyclic boundary condition on a structure in a fixed cylindrical coordinate system.
Regards
I would be looking for it in a Cartesian coordinate system, where I could specify, say, nodes on two opposite and parallel surfaces (of a cube, for example) to have the same displacements. It would be as if I had simply duplicated the cube and joined them together but, makes for better computational time, since I do not actually have multiple cubes, only one cube with periodic boundary conditions.
I have been imitating this type of BC by simply limiting the degrees of freedom of the nodes on those opposite and parallel surfaces as if there were another cube there but am wondering if it is possible to specify nodal pairs to have the same displacements.

Hi, I have the same question.
May be we have to write some codes like EasyPBC in Abaqus
