are you referring to exporting the final step of animation in step format. or export the video only for final step.

you can use the animation start and stop slider to control the animation. the exported Avi file will only have the steps you have requested for.

So if @fedescu wants to export to stp format, he's just using this deck to generate surfaces (geom>surface>from FE), and export these surfaces as stp file
