Assembly of two composite parts on Optistruct

I am beginner on Optistruct and I would like to assemble two composites parts to have a uniform behavior of the assembly during static analysis. I have tryed different types of contact like TIE, STICK or FREEZE but nothing seems to work properly. How can I do for the assembly below ? These two parts have been produced with Catia and imported by IGS format in Optistruct.

Altair EmployeeThank you @Prakash Pagadala for your prompt response. I have created mid surfaces to modeling my composites parts. Is these surfaces must be in contact to use RBE2 elements ? Can I select a ply directely ?

Instead use RBE2 elements to connect two components.
