Hi,

I have started exploring motionview just recently for MBD simulations. As part of it, I have tried to import .fem and h3d files through flex prep as part of flex body creation. But, it is showing the following error. Kindly help me rectify

Thanks for replying Praful. But, I am sorry. These files are official. Sharing them would not be possible.

    Hello KV - I understand.

Without the files it would be hard to figure out.

I can only speculate. Likely there was an earlier flexbody which was used and a connection to the flex body could have referring to a node ID 1 in that flexbody. Then the flexbody was likely changed which does not contain that ID.

Could you try going into the Nodes dialog in the Body panel of the flexbody and use the Find button to update the nodes ?

In case this helps, I am the Program Manager for MotionView. You may send the files to ppraf@altair.com. The files will be handled in a confidential manner and deleted from system once your issue is resolved.

    Regards

    Praful
