How to split a line to achieve a ‚Mesh Node‘
Hello,
I would like to split the line in the middle so that I can make the boundary condition on a meshing node. So when I mesh the component there should be a ‚Mesh node‘ instead of a node which I could build with the tool ‚nodes‘ or ‚node edit‘. Because when I import the model in Abaqus, Abaqus only recognizes the boundary conditions on a ‚Meshing point‘. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you! On this line it functiones. But I would like to use this function on a line inside the geometry too. I meshed a partition with a little tetra mesh of 1 and outside of the partition a mesh of 4. Now I would like to receive the fixed point in the middle of the line to make a boundary condition too (between the two meshes). I already splitted the line with the tool „add point on line“ but there is no fixed point.you can use this tool to add equally spaced fixed points on a line
Hello,
You need to create a FIXED POINT to ensure you have a node at that location.
