Difference of Machine Efficiency Map between Flux FeMT and FluxMotor

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a question for Machine Efficiency Map.

What's the difference between using Test of Performance Mapping in FluxMotor and using FeMT in Flux?

    Hello Allen;

     

    The efficiency map using FluxMotor does not include magnet Joule losses and rotor iron losses as well in the efficiency map (they are neglected). The computation of the iron losses it self is made on the flux densities extracted from the magnetostatic application.

     

    In the efficiency map computed in Flux 2D, you can include the Joule losses on the magnet or any additionnal conducting part on the rotor or the stator, as well as the iron losses on the rotor. The method used to compute iron losses is based on Bertotti model also or LS Model, however, this computation is done on transient application.
