solid can not be created when exported

I have tried created solids from surfaces and I can do it successfully in hypermesh. But when I export the file as STEP or IGES and open it in a different software I see that I am getting a collection of surfaces instead of a solid. I was wondering if I am doing something wrong in HM.

Hi,

What is the topology mode when you are exporting the file to .stp format?

Can you change that option to surfaces and check?

I did create surfaces from the solid part and looked at its topology, every thing is green, i.e. shared.

When you are exporting as .stp there are few export options.

In that change the topology mode to something else and try again.

what do you mean by change the topology mode to something else and try again. I have used suppressed topology for the solid and the same issue exists

Can you export it as parasolid and try once.

Change the ' Topo Mode' to Surfaces and try again.
