Hi Altair community,

How can I run a "Definitive Screening Design" in Hyperstudy? I couldn't find the pre-defined option to do it.

There is no a pre-defined setup for DSF out-of-the-box, as far as I rememeber.

But you could use some of the screening methods, such as Plackett-Burman, Taguchi or fractional factorial.

Or you could even design your own factorial design by defining which factors you want or not confounding.

    Hi Adriano,

Thanks for the response. I am considering using DSD as it includes factors with 3 levels and there is no confounding of the main effect and two-factor interactions. Would it be an option to create the design manually and use "User Defined Design" in Hyperstudy?

you can edit what interactions you're interest in, and design your own fractional factorial study.

Also the levels for each factor could be changed.
