Yes this is a tricky one. The connections to the fins and the shaft is what makes these unmappable. For the ones on the shaft it is a pretty easy fix. If you split the solids as if the smaller diameter shaft is continuous that should make those mappable.
The fins are a little trickier. I really good approach isn't coming to mind right now. Maybe split up the cylinder to just one section with one fin, mesh that manually then copy it, rotate it and equivalence nodes. That is not a very elegant solution. Maybe someone else will have a good idea for that area.
