How to set the shortcuts key for 2D > midmesh > split by two nodes?

Hello,

I'd like to customize a shortcuts to let me get the function quickly to pick up the nodes directly from the midmesh panel.

1. 2D

2. Midmesh

3. Edit edges

4. split by two nodes

5. node.

since im using this option frequently, so it is helpful if it gets a customize shortcut.

I would look more at using Custom Ribbons, extensions and Toolbelt in the new interface, as the panel will be depreciated.

I am first going to recommend you update to a newer(est) version and use the new interface. The sooner you learn that, the better, in my opinion.

You could investigate the required api and map it here

Hi,

I can map 2d>Midmesh>edit edge to a key , but not able to do it for 2d>Midmesh>edit edge>split by two node.

Is there a way to do it.
