    Hi,

    In your model i see loadcollector for constraints but no DOF is turned on.Even i dont see any load in your model.

    Please define appropriate loads & boundary condition then run.If possible refer optistruct online tutorial.

    Regards

    I have a temperature constraint of 298K

    also, i made a heat flux load

    but still there's no differences in result between checking and unchecking the matt4 card

    +ive attached my latest .hm file

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>boxchecked.JPG

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>boxchecked.png

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>boxunchecked.JPG

    Hi,

    Can you share the model?

    The quantities defined on the MAT4 bulk data entry are multiplied by the tabular function referenced by the MATT4 bulk data card to generate the corresponding material properties. Since the K is value is very less there is no much change in the results.

    Hi,

    How come thermal conductivity  for three different material is same?I feel unit is not consistent for thermal conductivity(Even in your first shared file i saw different values)

    and enter H Free convection heat transfer coefficient value and Run.

    Regards

    the units are made up of W/mmK

    for instance, StainlessSteel is about 16W/mk (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_thermal_conductivities )

    so ive wrote the mat4 value into 0.016 (W/mmK)

    +copper = 0.39 W/mmK & G10 fiberglass = 0.0003W/mmK

    Those seems to be correct, and ive typed in h coefficient values but no differences still....

    -Solved-

    I had to use the nonlinear analysis not the linear ones.
