Hyper graph

for my rotor dynamics project i have to take magnitude values . when i import .pch file to hypergraph it showing only x,y,and z values only , how can i take magnitude values.. i applied load in z dirextion and rotor rotation in x direction so i have plot for magnitude.. i am doing 112 sol.. transient response.magnitude means root of x2 +y2+z2. ryt? pls guide me

dear sir,
actually i have to plot displacement and velocity plot..if i open msc nastran pch file in hyper graph its shows only x,y and Z curves, or if i open op2 file i can get mag values from mag command in component. but in op2 i cant get velocity plot for mag so please tell me how to plot mag values. i am doing transient analysis aftr transient i have to convert to FFT resulst. please guide me

Pradeep the XYZ components from .pch file are velocities in three directions ryt?
If yes, you can find the resultant from the three curves option.

yes sir,
but i am not able to find the resultant commond

Goto FIle>> Load>> Preference file>> Vehicle safety tools and click Load.
Now find the Math menu under which you will see Three curves>> Resultant.

Pradeep,
Shift+select the curve for curve 1 and repeat the same for other two.

ya i got . thanks sir,
i knew so many tools in Hm from this forum
thanks sir,

Dear sir,
I am plotting X,Y and Z resultant plot for transient time domain analysis, if i convert this to FRF by using Hypergraph tool it showing more magnitude like 1000mm/sec . but in fft its showing .02mm/sec. is there any multiplication factor is there in hypergraph?
Hi Pradeep,
You can use resultant option for three curves.
Plot three curves in three components and goto Math Menu>> three curves>> Resultant and choose all three curves.
