I am adding new surface therefore new mesh.

Even tough I  associated exisrting nodes, by node edit, to new surfaces, new mesh that i create is not matching the nodes in the corner.

How can i handle that.

thanks in advance.

    Hello,

There are two aspects to associate. The actual association (you can select elements by their surface). This does not automatically move them.

There is also the physical location.

You may need to adjust the Snap Tolerance and check Move Nodes to the the behavior you want.

    Thank you Jason.

Is that working also from surface to elements?

I am doing from Node/Edit menu from Hypermesh, It is aligning the existing nodes to edge of the surface.

However the new mesh crated on the surface not matching that nodes.

    Hello Jaja,

Can you show a quick screengrab of what you mean?

It sounds like you are trying to associate nodes to an existing surface edge and then mesh that surface with matched nodes.

    Something like this?
