Collision Velocity meaning

Hello,

I would like to know when I am exporting the collision velocities, for example, in Analyst>Collision> Relative Velocity or Analyst>Collision > Velocity Element A .Does those velocities correspond to the beginning of a collision? Do I get the same results from Analyst> Collision > Velocity Element A and deck.timestep[t].SingleCollision.getFirstVelocity()?

    Hi Jason,


    The velocity is the velocity at the start of the collision, what you export from the Analyst will be the same as what you get from the H5 files as they are both reading the same data set.
