How to exclude a part from an analysis

I want to run an analysis on an assembly and I want to exclude a component from the analysis without deleting it from the assembly.
Is there any way to do this.
Globally speaking, is there any way to create multiple configurations, excluding specific parts according the analysis I want to run.
