Trim with line

Hello,

I'm finding some problems using the command 'Trim with line': in the tutorial after using that, the solid part trimmed is separated from the original one, so it can be Organized in a new component.

In my case, I trim successfully the part but is still united to the bigger one ( if I switch off the component it disappear completely).

Someone can said me what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you.

Alberto

It's because, whole model is still in one component. After trimming, if you want to hide trimmed section, goto mask panel and mask it.

    Thank you
