3DMeshing Boolean Union

Good morning,
Because of the fact that I'm not getting the union of two components by using Boolean union (Internal error), I'd like to know/ask if it's possible merging into one 3Dmesh the two single 3Dmeshes of the components so that the nodes and the sides of the elements coincide. Thanks in advance for the great help everyone. Please check attached the image and the HM model

    No such feature for meshing for this moment.

    • You have to organize yourself to have shared surfaces between two component. Mesh the 1st. When you do 2nd mesh, this one will match previous mesh.
    • If the above method is not possible. Maybe one can do matched mesh manually.
    • If both above methods are not possible, use Contact tie to assembly two different meshes.

    Your shared model 13.hm has no mesh!

     

    Your version of Hypermesh is VERY VERY OLD!!!

    You're right, I uploaded the wrong file.  I'm uploading the new and correct one, check 14.HM attached hereby.

    I don't know and I can't even find the feature 'Contact Tie', how does it work?

     

     

    I know that my Hypermesh version is very old, but it's the only one I have available to write my thesis...
