I had given run in optistruct for linear static analysis
but it shows like this -

In static load case 10
the compliance is negative or large 1.389270E+08
Optimization/buckling analysis cannot be performed
due to possible rigid body mode
wat is this mean????
wat is compliance???

Altair Employeei had the same problem: i had a geometry and the loads where attached to a RBE2 Element. There was a failure in the DOF. I chanced that and the error disappeared. maybe that helps…… but i am not sure if this really caused the problem. good luck! ;-)
Altair EmployeeI had a similar problem. The cause was improper contact surface definition.
Check your boundary conditions. Large compliance means, your model 'flys away'.
One cause can be no stiffness, another as stated missing contact definitions, another can be missing links in rigids or wrong BCs.

Hi,
If you run analysis only, turn 'run options' to 'analysis'. You seem to set inconsistent material parameters, please check again if young modulus is too small
