    Hi,

For which solver are you modelling?

You can connect both components with RBEs, constraint expect the rotation Dof or use CbEAM and release pin flag in the respective direction.

    hi ,

    the solver is optistruct

the problem is that  i dont know how to connect the two areas with rigid elements , i tried to select the pink elements as a muliple node in rigid panel after that i chose the independent node as a one node from the body of grey because i cant select muliple nodes ... i dont understand how to model this rigid elements between two surfaces .

    Hi,

You can use Joints>>Revolute>>FE if you are using 2017.1. This creates a CBEAM element between components.

But in your case it looks like the grey component is going to slide over the pink component. If this is the case you can model SLIDE contact and use NLSTAT analysis instead of linear static.
