How do I solve a License error running RadiOSS?
Whenever I try to run a RadiOSS-Simulation on this specific PC, a license error comes up.
No matter if I start RadiOSS via the compute console or through the HW GUI. I tested this both on my own models and the models provided in the RadiOSS introduction class and use the same kind of license on a different PC at the institute, so I know it should work.
This error came up right at the start of the simulation:

These are the technical specs of the simulation PC, where RadiOSS doesn't work:
- Windows 10
- 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700 (8 cores, 16 threads)
- GPU NVIDIA RTX A4000
- Altair HyperWorks 2022

The Altair Student Edition license is a node-locked license – a license that will work only on one machine whose Ethernet ID was entered while requesting.
If you use the same license file on another computer, the license will not work. Another license file will be required for the second computer.
Please request for the student edition license for the other computer again here https://studentedition.altair.com/ with the correct Ethernet ID.
Thank you for the response, this doesn't solve the issue tho.
This PC is not running a hyperworks student edition. It's a PC at the institute and the license itself is not the issue as it works fine on another PC.

It appears that you have installed the full version of Radioss 2022, note that the student edition contains Radioss within the HyperWorks Student Edition and will not work with the commercial separate version of Radioss.
You should run Radioss from within the HyperWorks student edition in the Analysis > Radioss option only
