Hello,

I am doing the Aircraft Door Surround Composite Skin Model. I did everything but when I try to do the zone based realization, it is done correctly, but when I try to run I get the error "

Messages for the job:

 *** ERROR # 622 ***
PLY 141 does not contain any valid plate elements referencing a
 PCOMPP card.

What can I do to fix this? Thanks.

I did everything as mentioned in the tutorial. The zone realization worked but when I run the analysis I am getting that error. What should I look for to fix it? Thanks.

Zone based analysis should not have plies in the model. Did you have the ply information deleted when you realized the model?

No; I didn't delete anything. I did exactly as in the video. Should I delete plies? I have v2021.2.

If you are not using the plies and they are in you model as unused/empty, then yes, like any other Optistruct entity they will error. I am fairly certain in one of the videos it is mentioned it is good habit to delete ply data when realizing if you are using this as your final export model.

I see the option. In the video, this option is not checked. Maybe a note should be placed in the Composite tutorial about this.
