How to record commands in HyperView

Hi Guys,

I wanted to ask you about how can we record commands in HyperView like our command.tcl file gets updated as soon as we do some operations in HyperMesh. When I did some operations in HyperView, command.tcl file was not getting updated. So is there any way we can record commands in HyperView like we record in HyperMesh?

For HV, please look for HWC (HyperWorks Command Language) in help and check out View>HWC Console in the product to see commands getting recorded.

no. HWC was introduced in 2020.x or 2021, I guess.

Before that you will need to go into TCL scripting.

Just to add, 2017.3 is 5 years old and I would definitely recommend updating to newer version to take advantage of this great feature and many more.
