Expression Builder Error

are you able to contour plot the results in HyperView?

If you are not able to contour results, that means you have not loaded the result file along with the model file. please check if this is the case.

Result Math is not available for MBD models which used rigid bodies. Please check this.

yes, contour plotting of the original results is possible

i have no mbd model, it is a standard nastran/optistruct bulk deck.

i always thought, op2 format contains both, model and result data?

what would be the further course of action?

Can you check if result math is toggled to Standard in the load results panel?

If not, please change it to Standard and let us know if you are able to see the expression builder.

Ok, the Result Math Template is (was) toggled to 'None' /emoticons/default_angry.png' alt=''>

I toggled it to 'Standard', effects were as following:

When i load a session file with different models in it, i still get the same error...

But, when i read in a new model via 'Load Model' Panel the expression builder is available /emoticons/default_biggrin.png' alt=':D' srcset='/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>

if you want to use all features of the expression builder you have to load your model with the 'Advanced' Result-Math template !!!
