I want to ask what is the unit in the optimization result

If it doesn't have unit, result is only to see density = 1 are the needed element?

    Hi,

it is element density. 1 projects 100% material and say 0.5 projects 50% material. This means 50% material is retained. 0 Defines no material is retained.

    Hi

I arrange my statement like this :

The density is element density. 1 represents the material be used in 100% in element area and 0.5 represents the material be used in 50% in this elements area. 0 defines no material is retained in element area.

I want to ask if I explain about that

    It is right?

    HI,

The scales shows the material required for a given set of loads and boundary conditions.

So 1 means 100% material is required in that area and 0 means no material is required.

You can also use ISO surface contour to see the optimized design for a particular ISO value
