Feed Network Impedances Measurement

Hello

I design a patch array antenna with feed network. Attached its design file.

As a feed network should match the input to 50 ohms, I am looking for a way to measure the feed network impedance at various points in order to verify that the feed network design has been properly performed.

Is there a way to extract the lines impedances using FEKO between various points in the feed network?

Thanks.

To test the whole feed network, you could remove the patches and at their feed points place ports to ground. Then request S-parameters and include the input port and all the patches' ports to test the feed network.

For individual sections of lines place a port with a load at the end of the line, and test the input reflection coefficient from the other end.

    Hello

What typo of port should I create instead of the patch, at its connection point to the feed network?

You can place an edge port or wire port to ground at all the feed points of the patches.
