Hi,

I am performing a transient Direct analysis, for an sub assembly.

In which I need to model a non linear spring. Generally we will give Non Linear spring in Static Non Linear analysis using NLPRAM card.

But here I don't see any options for that. Please help me on this.

    hi,

Transient Direct that you're using is targeted for Linear analysis, thus the non-linear spring could not be used.

For NL effects, a nonlinear transient analysis should be used.
