Segmentation error while trying to import stp geometry file.

Hi, I use a student version of hyperworks. When i try to open a geometry cad file .stp into hypermesh the segmentation error is always displayed. And then software closes. I have got student license and activated it as per the manual.

    Hi Ameer,

    This looks unusual as importing .stp file is supported in HWX. May be you need to reinstall or cleanup up you Document and Temp folder before reinstalling.

    I hope you have taken correct installation files.

    i downloaded and installed student version as well as activated license as per altair manuals. Installation file was downloaded from altair marketplace.license code was received via student mail.

    Is it 2023Version?

    I have the same problem exactly. I even tried different CAD file formats and the segmentation error message keeps popping. Can you please tell me how to fix this? I really need to start working on a part ASAP.

    please find attached stp file. ( from udemy course , i got this stp file )

    installation file i downloaded from altair one marketplace.

    i deleted the download file after installing it to free up some space.
