Hello...

Please help me in this way.

I try to run a large file in Radioss (~200mb), but i don't have sufficient memory. My system have 3Gb RAM, Core I3 2.4 Intel, Graphic Card Nvidia 512mb.

When i try run the .fem file next error are given:

*** ERROR # 7007 ***

The run failed because automatic memory expansion has failed.

Currently allocated working storage is 1287 MB.

Automatic expansion failed to expand to 1771 MB.

More than the failed amount of memory is required to complete the run.

Please verify whether the system has enough memory. If it has, then please

try this run with the fixed memory allocation to avoid a probable limitation

on the maximum locatable memory with the automatic memory allocation.

***** NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO COMPLETE THE CHECK RUN *****

If i delete some elements of model the Radioss running is finised properly.

I try to use SYSSETTING Card but but i have another error (I do not know who is syntax of this card)....I am beginner in hyperworks.

Please tell me how i can change currently allocated memory.

Thanks in advance...

For this problem (error 7007) I ran the file in Operating System on 64 bit. About Ramdisk command i don't have idea where can be written.

yes , i agree.for larger models, its advised to use 64 bit version of optistruct. its virtually impossible to run using a 32 bit version.
