i noticed the Feature 'table view' is now available in HW Desktop 13.0.113. I can not find any documentation for it, could you please advise me here or link to some doc? I want to put certain nodal contour values into the table and derive some data from it.

As a workaround, use the Query panel to record and export the nodal contour values to a .csv file.
You can import the same file in table view for further processing.
