Dear all

      I want to mesh a box use ruled panel. But when I selected two edges of the box. It creats a mesh that crosses itself, resembling a bow tie. whether I checked the auto reverse, it dosn't work. Could you help me? Thanks!<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>a.jpg

    there are multiple ways through which you can achieve good mesh using ruled command.I believe you would have selected end mutiple edges along the length of box.edge to edge would also work fine.

    It's because fix points on 2 lines are not parallel to box axis

    In your case, use 2d>drag is better

    I also found this, but the fix points could not be suppressed or released. What should I do, if I want to make them parallel?

    I see free edges and toggled line.

    Specially in your case fixed was creating problem. At both end fixed points was not at same location.After creating fixed point at same location ruled command works fine.

    But I tried to remove fixed point, the suppress and release commands are not work. How could I change the fixed point position? thanks!

    You cannot remove fixed point if it is unique on the line, add new fixed point then remove the old one (F11> add/remove point)
