Al foam and CFRP

Dear all,

I am try to simulate the whole compression experiment which to test the novel aluminium foam sandwich by RADIOSS Bulk data. I an confused at the material applied on the model and how to define the contact between Al foam(core) and CFRP. I want to simulate the CFRP as a shell property and Al foam as a solid property and also I want to figure out what mean for LCPY and LCRATE?
