I am using Hypermesh v2019.1 Nastran profile. Whenever I try to select elements by face, the elements do not get selected. I have tried feature angle from 5 to 90 but still no use. Also this is only happening in this one model. Every other model works fine.

What version are you using? Is this in a specific tool or across all tools?  In the new interface or classic?  Have you tried on a different model to verify if it is model specific?  Maybe a picture or video would help.

I am using Hypermesh v2019.1 . This problem is only with the specific model. I am facing the issue in both hypermesh and hyperworks desktop.
On further checking, the issue was found to be caused by a single row of elements. As soon as those elements were deleted, it started to work fine . But i still am unable to ascertain as to what was the issue with those elements.

If it was model specific it probably has something to do with the modeling.  Were they some how disconnected or were the normals flipped?  The normals actually shouldn't be a problem but can't really think of something besides them being disconnected or duplicate.
