How to perform Wire Mesh/ Tube Mesh Faster?

I have to perform tube/ wire mesh. Outer surface should be captured in shell with rigid made at the centre of the nodes. all the rigids should be connected via 1 D beam element. 

It's a time-consuming process for doing it manually. Is there any easy way to do this in a single click or via automation.
