MAT LAW35 (PLAS_TAB) - Strain Rate Smoothing

Hello,

I am looking for some additional information about MAT LAW36, specifically, strain rate smoothing (i.e. when F_smooth = 1). It's my understanding that when N_funct is greater than 1, we need to utilize F_smooth = 1 (at least, a warning is issued during the check phase if it is not). However, I do not quite understand what this means when it comes to the functions themselves (at different strain rates) or the strain rates between the curves provided (e.g. curve 1 is provided for a strain rate of 1/s and curve 2 is provided for a strain rate of 10/s, but the material undergoes a strain rate of 5/s).

If I could be pointed in the direction of some additional documentation (beyond the Reference Guide, I have already looked at this) or, if it could be explained in a bit more detail, I would be very appreciative.

Thank you in advance for your time.
