    Hello,

Is it possible to share your study with me? You can create an archive (*.hstx file) from menu File and then Export.

I would like to check the Setup definition.

Can you tell me what FluxMotor version do you use?

    Regards,

    Diana

I'm trying to do it like in this video. I cannot assign the run because a run does not open on HyperStudy. This is the real problem.

    Hello,

what do you mean by "A run does not open on HyperStudy"? Are you able to create the FluxMotor connection and Import Variables?

Does it fail at Run Definition?

I am getting an "an exception" error while transferring variables. I am trying to explain this.

    Ok I see.

In order to check on my side, can you please share the component exported from FluxMotor?

    Thanks.

On my side I am able to import the variables and run the simulation.

I send you the archive (.hstx) that I have exported. Can you try to import it on your side (menu File->Import) and try to run it?

I try to figure out what would be the reason of the issue and will come back to you.

It seems there is something unusual with your installation.

Can you confirm that the location below exists on your machine and there is a folder 'alt' inside?

    D:/Program Files/Altair/2021-edu/hwdesktop/hst/scripts/python/python3.5/win64

    There is no "scripts" folder.

That is certanly the reason of the issue. Something went bad in your installation.

Could you please uninstall HyperWorksDesktop and then install it again and check again the above folder.

    Looking forward for your feedback.

Do you confirm having administrator rights? Did you notice some error messages during the installation?

I'm discussing internally with my colleagues to try to help you.

Thanks a lot for providing all the requested information. It was helpful.

We were able to identify the reason of the issue.

You can not run HyperStudy with FluxMotor because there is no the scripts folder in the installation. This folder is not installed because of missing files in the installer edu2021_win64.exe that you have used. I've been able to reproduce it.

It is an issue and we will fix it as soon as possible.

I'll let you know a turnaround solution.

    Regards,

    Diana
