Can only run analysis on server, not optimization?

Hello Fellow Altair Users,

 

I am trying to submit a topology optimization on a server, but only analysis will run. Am I missing a control card for this option, or is there a unix command that i can use to indicate optimization?

    Jason,

     

    Optimization data is checked for automatically and it will run optimization by itself,

     

    Make sure the run options switch is set to optimization in Analysis > optistruct , within HyperMesh also Check for the control card: ANALYSIS ONLY and delete it if there,

     

    Check to see if there are any errors in the .out file , make sure you have enough licenses to run optimization, recheck the model set up also. 

     

    go to the demo folder within the tutorial folder and run some of the sample topology optimization examples to see if it is specific to one model,
