Where is Display component in Hyper Works X
Hi everyone, I'm a newbie with HyperWorks X. And I'm looking for relation between classic HyperMesh and HyperWorks X.
I alway use tool 'Display' in classic HyperMesh, and now I want to find it in HyperWorks X. But It is impossible !!!/emoticons/default_unsure.png' title=':unsure:' />

Unfortunately this display is not available yet in Hyperworks X. However, you can access these features in Tool Panel.
For your information: I use Hyperworks-X only on .... playstation :-) I work only with classic Hypermesh

@Altair : if you stop classic version of Hypermesh, I'll ask my boss to STOP buy Altair's licenses!
Altair Employee HyperWorks 2020 will still hold both Classic- an Next-Generation-GUI-versions of HyperMesh. Saved hm-files are compatible in both directions, scripts should work.
Next-Generation-Versions you may have at hand today, are not in final status. E.g. with HW2020 a lot new cool functionality will come in, along with many more new workflows.
There is no definite target yet, but at some point, Classic-GUI will disappear of course. We are sure the new workflows will benefit customer workflows a lot, and we hope to help customers in transition phases for as smooth a switch as possible.

Maybe after Covid-19?
Altair Employee HW2020 is targeted for May.
As usual, in the final QA stages we are in, some further delays can happen until final release version is verified. But it should not be far away.
